If breasts are the undisputed symbol of femininity, buttocks still play an important role in drawing the figure. The right curves give the outline of the body that shape which makes the female form harmonious and attractive and translates into beauty in our eyes.
We should immediately point out that the Brazilian buttock (the goal of many buttock lifting exercises in the past few years) is not good for everyone. Firm, round and polished buttocks can make all the difference in achieving an overall aesthetic balance, but always with the aim of achieving a natural looking result.
The lower back is one of the most critical areas for women who inevitably have to deal with skin laxity, adiposity or cellulite.
These typically female disorders are actually real diseases. The good news is that not only are they curable, but you can intervene on the various issues in an extremely effective manner and without necessarily having to resort to lifting the buttocks.
Thanks to innovative methods of intervention it is possible to obtain excellent results when reshaping the buttocks, their shape, firmness and tissue tonicity.
Nowadays, we specialists can choose and combine techniques and technologies to specifically target each of these aspects and achieve a lifting effect on the buttocks without necessarily having to resort to surgery.

New technologies are the answer, but only in the right hands
Science and technology have brought to the fore a range of techniques, methods and tools which, in the right hands, are capable of producing results that until a few years ago were considered impossible.
However, every female body has its own peculiarities and unique characteristics. The numerous modern technological advances are not enough to ensure an optimal result: the specialist must have a marked aesthetic sense and a certain sensitivity in identifying the key points on which to intervene to restore harmony to the body and make the patient happy and satisfied.
Only after an accurate medical assessment will the surgeon decide whether minimally invasive surgery or the most suitable cutting-edge equipment will be the best choice to give the buttocks more tone, restore their youthful appearance and turgidity, eliminate fat accumulations in a stable and definitive way, and get rid of that annoying orange-peel skin appearance.

Removing excess fat with ultrasound
Micro-lipocavitation is now the best alternative to traditional liposuction for permanently eliminating small and medium-sized fat pads.
Through the use of ultrasound, the excess fat is emulsified and then immediately aspirated in a non-traumatic way, eliminating it permanently.
The emulsion technique using ultrasound for adiposity has been used by plastic surgeons for many years. The latest development involves changing the way the energy is used.
In micro-lipocavitation, ultrasound is applied by means of a very thin probe with an approximately two millimetre calibre which gently dissolves the fat that we want to eliminate, keeping the vascular and nervous structures present in the treated tissue intact.
This is a great advantage if we consider that very often the development of the much-hated “cellulite” is caused by poor local circulation. Employing a method that does not damage the vessels further is undoubtedly better for the patient’s health.
Finally, by acting on the fibrotic structure, micro-lipocavitation treatment creates a lifting effect on the buttocks that improves the “orange peel” appearance of cellulite and gives the tissues tone and firmness.

Compact and firm buttocks with radiofrequency
Monopolar capacitive radiofrequency is used to rejuvenate the skin and reduce tension in tissues.
Immediately after treatment, the buttocks will change shape and volume due to an increase in the thickness and consistency of the skin.
For many years, monopolar capacitive radiofrequency has been one of the non-surgical solutions for lifting the buttocks using a dual mechanism: the denaturation of collagen and fibroblastic activation.
Collagen fibres, those that give structure to our tissues, denature themselves, becoming shorter and thicker which creates tension.
The lifting effect on the buttocks is already visible at the end of the session: the buttocks will be raised by a few centimetres.
At the same time, radiofrequency increases the activity of fibroblasts. Translated into practical terms: it stimulates a natural process that occurs in our body leading to the production of new collagen fibres or neocollagenesis.
Since it is necessary to wait for this process to be completed, the rejuvenation effect on the tissues will reach its optimal result 3-6 months after treatment.
Last but not least, the goal of this procedure is to eliminate annoying orange-peel cellulite. This imperfection will improve thanks to a reduction in tension in the tissues and the reproduction of collagen and elastin. The results are stable and will last for about 2-4 years.

Full shape and upward projection with fillers
The lifting effect on the buttocks can also be obtained using remedial substances such as autologous fat or specific gels intended for the correction of body profiles. With both, it is possible to improve the shape of the buttocks.
In the case of lipofilling, fat is removed from a region of the patient’s body, for example, the hips, and reinjected, after appropriate treatment of the tissue, into the buttocks region.
The donor and recipient areas (buttocks) are anaesthetised. Patient discharge usually occurs during the day and the first results are visible after a few weeks.
Lipofilling is perfect when combined with micro-lipocavitation. The adipose tissue is removed and reinjected where it is needed to improve the patient’s figure.
In the face, just as in the body, there are fillers made with hyaluronic acid that can be injected into areas that have lost their volume.
Implanting the filler consists of minimally invasive treatment on an outpatient basis. The results are instantly visible.
The use of the remitting substances is indicated both when the buttocks have a certain cutaneous laxity and when they have a flat and drooping shape.
In the case of descended buttocks, the upper area is raised with the gel, but if it is flat, the central area will be used to improve the volume and shape.
The extreme versatility of the injectable substances, therefore, produces a lifting effect on the buttocks and fills out the buttocks.
The effect is durable, but not permanent. Thanks to their hydrophilic effect, the fillers based on hyaluronic acid retain their ability to fill and lift the buttock for about 12 to 18 months.
